ohhhh, very intriguing so far.

It's sort of sad and gripping, but also kind of understated and it just kind of grabs you and drags you in.

Xander's quietly freaking, yet not, and Spike's being all protective and yay, the chip is finally history...

Absolutely fabulous job!

Can't wait for more!

Very interesting. I love 'coming back from torture' stories, so I'm along for the ride.
I've never read anything in this format style before, so that's a new thing for me. But you've captured my attention, so I'm giving it a shot. Very lovely beginning.

Thank you so much! I've never written anything in this style before either. I have read one that has a similar set up, in the SG1 fandom, and I wondered if I could do it. I'm still not sure if it will work out, or if I'll wind up scrapping it and writing it in a traditional format, but I hope I can pull it off!

Really enjoying this. I love h/c fic anyway, especially x/s, so I'm thrilled. This is a great start, I really like the insight we get into Xander's feelings and thoughts, through his journal entries. And the fact that my widdle Spikey put himself in danger to enable him to defend Xander and the rest of them against humans is wonderful.

Intrigued by the format, but I think it may get a bit confusing for you, with the story in one place and the feedback in another!

Loved this and very keen to read more.

I love your story! It's different from any Spander I've ever read ... a totally different idea which is just wonderful. I love the approach -- Xander dealing with the aftermath.

Interesting premise. Poor Giles, stiff upper lip doesn't help sometimes, glad Xander's girls can give him positive touches.

Willow logic:my spells can't find him therefore he can't be found. Dead on.
Wonder what happened that his 'added' personalities have faded. Interesting touch that.

Scary very scarey to think about. Poor Xander, I'm glad hee's determined to try and get through things despite having contradicting thoughts. His journal entry was really sad and touching, you can almost see him faltering and then picking himself up. Really nice the way Spikes watching over him.

I really like the way you use the LJ format as part of your story, and you have some great conflict going here. I'm looking forward to the relationship developing between the boys, and your Angel is great. I can see his confusion because the Sunnydale crew *doesn't* always communicate well.

I do have one question...if Spike got the chip fried in order to protect "his Bit" by making sure he could protect her from evil humans like the one who took Xander, why was he standing outside Xander's window all night instead of obsessing over Dawn?
